 Public Art and Commissions

There is an extraordinary quality and depth to painting in a large scale. Created on wood panels or canvas in my studio and using acrylic paints, they require many months of work., They are then varnished, framed and later installed. In the contest of public art, I am be inspired to create art that alters the experience of public spaces while reflecting timeless hope and beauty, and renders a home or a building more humane.

I have had the privilege of working on a variety of commissions for various public agencies, corporations and private residences. I have also taught mural painting and directed teams of young people and prison inmates to create large-scale projects. A large panting becomes an infinite window.
